Network Sensor and Data Analyst

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Five (5) to eight (8) years of experience in relevant technical field, to include: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specification, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of C5ISR requirements
  • Minimum of a Secret security clearance required to start, and will require a Top Secret to be obtained after on-boarding
  • Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) architect, design, testing and evaluation, deployment and management experience
  • Experience with NIST SP 800 series information security management aligned to Enterprise telecommunications and networks
  • Experience with Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) network products, i.e. routers, switches, Network Time Protocol (NTP) servers, network management, and cryptographic equipment
  • Experience with routing protocols such as Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), and Multicast
  • Experience with Virtual Private Network (VPN), firewall, Access Control List (ACL) network switches, and Information Assurance (IA)/Cybersecurity (CS)
  • Agile software development knowledge/experience
  • Network Tapping experience, i.e. SPAN, physical tap, virtual tap, etc.
  • In-line encryptor experience, i.e. TACLANE, High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor (HAIPE), etc.
  • Packet Capture technology and analysis experience
  • Understanding of data structures and design of highly available systems
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Comfortable with the creation of in-depth, accurate technical documentation
  • Have system administration experience on DoD-deployed systems


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • A DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II certifications is desired for this position:

    • Have one of the following security certifications: GSEC, Security +, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP
    • An additional OS/OE cert in relevant technology area: Cisco Certified Architect or similar commercial enterprise network architect certification


  • Knowledge of systems engineering activities and process improvement approaches strongly desired
  • Knowledge of CND ashore and afloat systems is a plus

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

This opportunity provides a potential customized relocation package as well as sign-on bonuses for top candidates.

As a member of the CND Engineering Team this position will provide network security design, installation, support, and system administration support for Computer Network Defense Systems (CNDS). This position will perform product testing, product evaluation and reviews, network design, and system development of Information Assurance (IA) and network systems. This team consists of numerous engineers and SMEs tasked with finding the next solutions for CND systems. SRC is looking for qualified candidates for a challenging position on the CND Engineering Team.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Develops Concepts of Operations, Requirements, Basis of Design, and critical design documents and drawings
  • Develops detailed end-to-end network performance assessments
  • Tests, plans, executes, analyzes, and documents
  • Evaluates services and products provided by COTS/Government - Off The Shelf (GOTS) and provide recommendations
  • Utilizes DISA STIGs to harden and secure network and security devices
  • Develops capabilities that quickly process and provide to end user critical data requests
  • Develops analytics supporting cyber security use cases that supports decision aids at the strategic, operational and tactical levels of maritime warfare
