Associate Director, Affordable Housing Development Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is seeking a passionate, purpose driven, systems thinker, with a deep understanding of affordable housing and community development to fill the role of Associate Director, Affordable Housing Development within the organization's Housing and Community Strategy (HCS) team. The HCS team works with Habitat for Humanity local offices across the United States primarily through thought partnership, capacity building and investments in strategic programs. The team's efforts are grounded in social justice and equity and focused on identifying, investing in, and scaling innovative approaches to affordable housing, economic mobility, and neighborhood transformation.
As a key leader on the HCS team, this position will sit on the newly forming Housing Solutions team. The role will support strategic initiatives and produce tools that help HFHI and local Habitat affiliates to understand and leverage housing market conditions, financing (including public subsidies), regulatory environment, and entitlement process for affordable homeownership projects. Additionally, the role will provide technical assistance to local Habitat offices in reviewing site design, construction techniques, and regulatory compliance, as a way of promoting best practices. This position is remote with the ability to work EST preferred. Responsibilities:
For work locations in the US, the salary range for this position is between $72,000 - $109,000 per year. The target hiring range for this position is $77,000 - $86,000. #LI-RW1 #LI-Remote Location:
