Duties and Responsibilities

Examining surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work
Reading Job notes through assigned Work Order
Making on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
Applying, levelling and smoothing coats of plaster
Applying coats of stucco over the exteriors of buildings to form weatherproof surfaces
Cleaning and preparing surfaces
Mixing stucco/plaster ingredients
Finishing corners and angles and creating decorative designs
Measuring, cutting and fitting drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
Positioning and securing drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs
Cutting and installing metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
Filling joints, holes and cracks with compound using a trowel and broad knife
Smoothing out excess compound and sanding over dry compound
Taking and adhering to all health and safety precautions
Ensure the customer's home is left in the same condition prior to the installation process
Cleaning-up of job site
Checking out of project through work order
Managing daily schedule through the Field Service App
Communicating next steps with both office staff and customers
Managing materials needed per assigned project, may include shopping and sourcing
Additional duties required as needed
Requirements and Qualifications

Proven experience as a Stucco/Drywall/Paint Finisher
Excellent knowledge of Stucco/Drywall/Paint materials and how to select, mix and apply them
High School diploma and prefer some college classwork
Solid knowledge of commercial and/or construction finishing techniques * Strong Customer Service Skills
Aptitude in using appropriate tools
Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
Conscientious with great attention to detail
Must be able to work well in a team environment
