About the Role

An Art Director is a conceptual and visual architect of brand experiences and works alongside a Copywriter to execute the creative and marketing strategy for all assigned projects. The Art Director possess visual and verbal skills and are capable presenters. They collaborate actively with a multi-disciplinary project team as well as outside partners. They report directly to the project's creative lead, as each project requires.


What You'll Do

  • Work closely with creative lead to bring the team's visual concepts to life
  • Communicate regularly with Account Services, Strategy and Project Management team members to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met
  • Assist creative lead in presenting work to clients
  • Work on a variety of design projects for print, digital and social
  • Provide multiple design solutions for a given brief
  • Play an active role in brainstorming sessions
  • Keep up with trends in advertising, design and social media
  • Learn new skills and software as needed
  • Design presentation materials for new business pitches
  • Partner with Copywriters to deliver creative solutions


What You'll Need

  • At least two years experience as an Associate or Junior Art Director, ideally at an advertising or design agency
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to craft visual concepts for a brand across a variety of mediums
  • Exceptional design aesthetic, variations on styles, and awareness of design trends and innovation
  • Proficiency with AfterEffects, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Keynote and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with Premiere Pro strongly preferred
  • Solid typography and layout skills
  • Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently to see projects through

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, click for more details.

Pay Range
$45,000 $90,000 USD
