JOB PURPOSE:To operate/assist in operating the aircraft in a safe and proficient manner, while complying with all applicable FAR's, Company Ops Specs/Manual contents, Aircraft Flight Manual and any policies and procedures set forth by SevenBar Aviation

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs Pilot in Command (PIC) duties for SevenBar during aircraft flight operations.
  • Coordinates with customers to ensure timely aircraft and flight operations and assist with passenger needs.
  • Completes preflight planning and preparation.
  • Conforms to normal, abnormal and emergency operations.
  • Maintains a professional manner with all clients and SevenBar employees.
  • Performs/assists in aeronautical decision-making and exercises sound judgment.
  • Strives to maintain a teamwork environment while on duty.
  • Performs/assists in post-flight duties.
  • Completes all necessary paperwork.
  • Assigns First Officer duties when applicable.

Qualifications

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • ATP Certificate preferred, or Commercial with Airplane Multi-Engine Land
  • 2500 hrs. TT1000 hrs. PIC, 500 hrs. ME PIC, 100 hrs. Night PIC, 500 hours turbine preferred
  • ATP Certified within 5 years.
  • Medevac experience a plus
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays and odd times.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to maintain an FAA Second Class Medical.
  • Be able to lift 75 lb. baggage.
  • Have a normal range of motion and dexterity.
  • Be able to perform any normal, abnormal or emergency duties.
  • Occasionally exposed to air borne pathogens, toxic or caustic chemicals.
