Campus Recycling Spec I

Collect recyclable waste materials from designated campus collection sites and deliver for transfer. Maintain collection sites. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: other crew members, direct supervisor. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position will supervise: NA.

Job Duty 1 -
Service recycling stations through pickup and delivery of recyclable waste at designated sites.

Job Duty 2 -
Process paper and cardboard pick-up and drop-off.

Job Duty 3 -
Maintain indoor and outdoor recycling containers in clean, sanitary condition..

Job Duty 4 -
Monitor all recycling and solid waste disposal sites.

Job Duty 5 -
Pick-up and deliver recycling containers.

Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned

Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience
One to two years of job related experience

SKILLS
This job requires working knowledge of requirements for transporting materials, space utilization, warehousing, stock handling, and storage. Skills in operating motor vehicles, mobile equipment, hand/power tools, pressure washer, light equipment, and forklifts are required.
