Responsibilities and Duties



  • Responsible for reading the job ticket.
  • Pulls and labels run samples as specified.
  • Quickly identifies and corrects quality problems.
  • Maintains prescribed run standards.
  • Jogs delivered work into stacks or bands work into bundles as specified.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on collating equipment such as cleaning and lubrication.
  • Performs troubleshooting of machine.
  • Completes production records (time sheets, job tickets etc.).
  • Track job costs/production hours as applicable
  • Contribute to safety goals by maintaining a clean, clutter-free workplace, report potentially unsafe conditions and ensure that the department meets and exceeds safety requirements
  • Meet productivity and quality standards by completing work in timely and accurate manner
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or four plus years of relevant industry experience
  • Basic computer skills including email, basic mouse, keyboard and menu navigation
  • Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and measurement
  • Ability to communicate/understand basic written and verbal instructions
  • Experience with cutter machine operation and set up practices and other bindery equipment


Preferred Qualifications
4 plus years of experience working in printing and/or manufacturing using machinery

Physical Requirements



  • Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping
  • Frequent standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Frequent walking
  • Ability to lift, pull, push up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to visually inspect all work for defects
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive work
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
