What You'll Do:



  • Follow all safety guidelines and participates as a fully empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
  • Set up the machine for running (clean trough, put up paper, film, hoses & mixing head)
  • Condition chemicals, fill all small tanks, empty drums, fill totes
  • Perform PM's on machine (grease, check screws & bolts, change & sharpen blades)
  • Clean and maintain filters
  • Unloads incoming chemical tankers
  • Inventory chemicals
  • Inventory safety equipment
  • Read and adjust pressure gauges and flow meters
  • General housekeeping of tank farm, slab molding, and high bay storage.


Multi-Skilled



  • Must be able and willing to perform essential duties and responsibilities listed above in addition to the following
  • Understand all positions required to run the slab molding machine
  • May perform more specialized roles such as lead fill in or chemical coordinator
  • Transfer chemicals from drums/totes into holding tanks and ensure holding tanks are full
  • Perform quality inspections at every step in the process to ensure compliance with quality standards.


  • Prior Hazwoper training preferable, ability to complete training within 3 months is required
  • Material handling experience a plus
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
  • Safety glasses and gloves are required. Depending on the task at hand, wearing of additional Personal Protective Equipment (i.e, Tyvek coveralss, chemical suits) and hearing protection may also be required. Must be medically qualified to wear a respirator/self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).

  • Meet requirements listed above in addition to the following
  • Expert knowledge of total foaming process and pro-active in all aspects of slab stock, tank farm, and high bay storage
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask with excellent attention to detail
  • Energetic, professional demeanor; exemplifies company's core values and promotes teamwork with contagious enthusiasm
  • Subject matter expert
  • Willing and able to train others
  • Ability to read and understand pressure gauges and flow meters
  • Ability to read and understand MSDS
  • Knowledge of valving/pipe configuration
  • Ability to read drawings/schematics
  • Intermediate knowledge of PC usage required to include Microsoft Word, Excel and data entry operations
  • Associates Degree (AAS) or equivalent from two-year technical school, or one year of directly related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate math skills are needed, to include concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.
  • Must be able to measure using the metric system
  • Must be able and willing to obtain fork truck certifications or license
