Digital Technology Intern

As a year-round Digital Technology Networking Intern, you will play a key role by assisting digital technology professionals with multiple tasks involving networking functions.

YOUR IMPACT

As a Digital Technology Networking Intern your experience may include:

  • Supportinglow to medium complexity maintenance, Run-the-Business (RTB) support, and responding to incident service requests of the assigned global infrastructure area.
  • Serveasa project resource on application and infrastructure project efforts representing infrastructure functional capabilities.
  • Responsiblefor gathering requirements, creating recommendations, and implementing solutions to meet the project requirements.
  • Provide knowledge sharing in the form of efforts such as writing knowledge articles, relationship development with other Information Technology (IT) staff, and job shadowing.
  • Develop and increase technical knowledge and capabilities through training, investing time to understand technical/organizational direction and cross training.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Student working towards an Associate's or Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science or related discipline for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Willing to travel to travel to McConnellsburg, PA or Oshkosh, WI for the duration of the year-round internship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional follow through and attention to detail.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills, able to multi-task and prioritize competing requirements and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where requirements are constantly changing.
  • Experience and proficiency with various web-based software applications including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Physical Demands: Frequent Sitting, Hearing, Talking, Visual, Typing, Manual Dexterity; Seldom Standing, Walking/Running, Reaching, Driving, Bending/Kneeling, Fine Dexterity, Upper Extremity Repetitive Motion, and Lifting/Carrying and Pushing/Pulling up to 40lbs.
