Product Management Specialist

As a Product Management Specialist, you will support the Networks Business covering our Network Equipment

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Acts as expert consultant to guide in planning and development of technical solutions.

* Participate in the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.

* Work closely with engineers and partners on detailed designs, functional specifications, project management, and testing.

* Lead technical presentations presented to customers and internal teams on supported products.

* Support sales and service delivery teams on pricing, delivery and technical questions

* Provide ongoing technical support and case management daily through phone, email, and other forms of communication with partners and customers.

* Investigate technical problems, reproduce issues as required, and interface with technology teams to drive customer issues to closure, in a timely manner with a positive outcome.

* Monitor and assume leadership resolution responsibilities for complex support cases residing with local team or with product line.

* As Support & train internal teams on the products

* Train delivery services team on new technology aspects

* Work with marketing, training, engineering, partners and delivery services teams to develop various product-related documents including marketing collateral, help documentation, and instructional materials.

* Plan for product transitions and retirement.

* Present and promote Itron product offerings at trade shows and other industry events.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or business administration. Computer Science degree preferred.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as good presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels in the organization.

* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.

* Result-oriented, proactive, strong analytical and strategic way of thinking.

* Organized and flexible, capacity to handle several projects at the same time in an international environment.
