Press Operator - 2nd Shift

Position Summary:

The Dye Sublimation Operator is responsible for all aspects of operating Dye Sub equipment to Imagine's production and quality standards, within budget and on time. Daily activity will include material handling and finishing as assigned.

Shift: M-F 2:30pm-11:00pm (2nd Shift)

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Operates large format Dye Sublimation equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines at beginning of each shift.
• Understands and follows work order direction. Questions to the point of clarity, as necessary.
• Produces product to spec, within budget, and in expected timeframe.
• Accounts for material consumed on job by job basis.
• Monitors quality throughout whole course of a run.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Follows all safety protocols.
• Assists other print operators in material handling as necessary.
• Communicates with customers and clients in a professional manner as needed.
• Available to work overtime as needed based on an "on-call" schedule provided by department manager.
• Performs other tasks as required.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Experience working with Dye Sublimation equipment preferred
• Moderate computer skills
• Moderate mechanical aptitude
• Good written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to read and understand work instructions
• Basic math skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and in team environments
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented
• Time-management to complete required workload
• Reliability through attendance and punctuality
• Demonstrates positive safety attitude

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently
• Ability to bend, lift and squat while loading and unloading materials on various equipment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (between 8 and 12 hours daily)
• Ability to work in environments that are moderately noisy (hearing protection is available upon request)
