Position Summary:
Saturday Morning STEM is a five class series of hands-on experiences designed to introduce middle and high school students to Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). In need of a high school forensic science teacher for an upcoming session that runs November-December.

Essential Functions:
- Develop and deliver five (5) lessons, organize hands-on activities relevant to class subject.
- Prepare and submit a course outline for review and approval prior to the start of the Fall and Spring semester sessions.
- Assist with the planning, instruction and evaluation of problem solving activities. - Complete paperwork associated with classroom and project management.
- Report student learning and behavioral issues to the appropriate staff personnel.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Two or more years of teaching experience at the middle school, high school or post-secondary level.
- Experience teaching Forensic Science in a classroom setting.
- Background clearance check.
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in designated discipline.
- At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university,
an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
