Senior Learning & Organizational Development Educator, Epic Implementation

Job Summary:

Participates in the development, implementation and evaluation of Epic training programs. Conducts multiple different training courses both in person and through webinars.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Conducts multiple different training courses both in person and through webinars; implements a variety of teaching strategies to meet end-users needs.
  • Initiates development, implementation, and evaluation of Epic training programs; reviews project curriculum content and sequence across all disciplines.
  • Updates classroom training modules as necessary; designs, develops and updates templates and tools to create materials.
  • Implements a variety of teaching strategies to meet end-users needs; guides projects to develop and update training programs training materials, reference guides and job aids.
  • Reviews project curriculum and sequence across work streams.
  • Provides feedback, innovation and recommendations to Senior Trainers and Management to improve future training/processes.
  • Compiles and utilizes related material and supportive documents to enhance teaching sessions; maintains current documentation and updates from the project lifecycle.
  • Conducts training session surveys to gather feedback to improve future training; makes recommendations for improvement to management.
  • Assists in all aspects of the logistics surrounding training; ensures rooms and materials are available for training sessions; assists as a mentor to others to optimize training.
  • Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.


Job Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, required.


Highly Preferred Qualifications:



  • Prior training experience
  • Epic experience with any of the following modules: EpicCare Inpatient, EpicCare Ambulatory EHR, ASAP, Clinical Case Management, Optime, Anesthesia, Cupid, Healthy Planet, Dorothy Home Care, Lumens, Resolute Professional Billing, Resolute Hospital Billing, Cadence

When determining a team member's base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

The salary range for this position is $58,539-$92,649/year
