Position title: Lecturer in Summer Session Salary range:
A reasonable estimate for an initial appointment is $64,329. See Unit 18 Lecturer table for the salary range for this position. For current appointees, normal compensation will be based on the annual salary of the Unit 18 faculty NSF in effect as of June 30 of the calendar year in which summer session begins. Duration through Summer Session 2023 Application Window Open date: February 22, 2023 Most recent review date: Thursday, Jun 8, 2023 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Final date: Friday, Aug 11, 2023 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) Position description The School of Natural Sciences anticipates hiring full and part-time lecturer positions to teach the following subjects in Summer 2023: Calculus I Physical Sciences & Engineering In addition to teaching the course(s), the instructor will be evaluating student work and exams, calculating and posting grades, and holding regular posted office hours each week. This is a limited-term appointment which falls under the purview of the agreement for the Lecturers Unit between University of California and the American Federation of Teachers. Terms and conditions of employment are subject to UC policy and appropriate collective bargaining agreement. Salary is based on an annual full-time salary of $64,329.00 and commensurate with experience.
