SavATree has partnered with Aspen Tree Service to bring on a Tree Installation Foreman
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must possess a valid Colorado driver's license
- Will Train for Commercial Driver's License
- Must pass company driving test
- Must be able to operate and transport machinery safely
- A good working knowledge of mechanics is preferred
- Must be able to follow instruction and lead a team respectfully and effectively
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the coordination and execution of tree plantings, tree relocations, light landscaping and irrigation.
- Responsible for maintaining trees and shrubs on-site throughout the planting process.
- Responsible for maintaining equipment including , mini-skids, excavators, and skid steers
- Responsible for assisting with irrigation maintenance with in the nurseries and facilities
- Daily planning to ensure optimum job efficiency and effectiveness.
- Use and operate tools, equipment, and vehicles used in the planting and delivery process
- Supervise the set up and maintenance of all nursery facilities.
- Inspect, safely load, handle, and transport nursery stock
- Organize and lead a team to follow procedure ensuring the highest quality end product to our clients
- Responsible for maintaining a professional work environment ensuring a quality customer experience.
- Supervise facilities maintenance projects when necessary.
- Responsible for training employees in landscape operations and maintenance
- Assist in filling orders for customers and company operations.
- Maintain landscape and delivery vehicles in clean and organized working order
- Perform other manual duties to maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Complete and manage employee daily paperwork including DOT reports, exact time, and work orders
- Must be punctual, responsible, and dependable.
- Comply with all company policies and regulations.
- Communicate with customers and co-workers in a polite and courteous manner.
- Must possess a willingness to learn and exhibit adaptability.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and be willing to work long hours on occasion when needed.
- Basic measurement and calculation skills
- Excellent observation skills and a strong attention to detail
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team.
- Assist in the production, bagging and palletizing of mulch products
- Assist in supervising yard maintenance including mowing of grounds and light landscaping
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- Horticulture/Arboriculture Trade Certification a bonus
- Minimum 2 years of experience in landscape related field
- Must be able to operate equipment safely.
- Must be willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT

- Requires frequent standing, kneeling, walking, pulling, reaching, stooping and bending.
- Requires walking primarily on uneven turf or rocky areas while on job sites.

- Will be exposed to dust, dyes, grease, odors, mechanical and electrical hazards, and all types of weather and temperature conditions.
- Job requires ability to work with hand tools, small and large engine equipment, skid steers, and loaders.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Work with and near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
- Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work

This position pays between $22-30/hr + benefits + PTO
