Our newly redesigned Loews Miami Beach Hotel includes all-new touchpoints throughout the property. Welcome to a South Beach Icon, Reimagined. Position is responsible for making repairs or alterations to Team member uniforms and guest clothing. Additional responsibilities include, assisting Uniform attendants during busy periods and maintaining a clean work area. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Fits uniforms for employees Alters uniforms for employees Puts name and code number in uniforms according to employee and department Repairs uniforms as required Repairs Housekeeping and Food & Beverage linen Keeps work area and machines clean Performs any other special project or task that may be required by the Laundry and Uniform Services Assistant Encourages a positive attitude among employees, and treats other employees (and the guests) with courtesy and respect Plus any other duties as assigned by management Is polite, friendly, and helpful to the guests, management, and fellow employees Delivers a quality product to the guest in a friendly and professional manner and in accordance with hotel standards. Supportive Functions and Responsibilities Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of all problems and/or unusual matters of significance Is polite, friendly, and helpful to all guests, management and fellow employees Attends all appropriate hotel meetings and training sessions Maintains cleanliness and excellent condition of equipment and work area Executes emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards Complies with required safety regulations and procedures Complies with hotel standards, policies and rules Recycles whenever possible Remains current with hotel information and changes Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards
