Description

As the Linen Courier Assistant, you may look forward to:



  • Daily completion of assigned scheduled laundry delivery and/or laundry pick-up route(s)
  • Load linen bags in delivery sequence on delivery vans
  • Help driver deliver linen bags to properties along a predetermined route
  • Help driver to pick up linen bags from properties along a predetermined route
  • May be required to load and unload linens or supplies weighing as much as 70lbs
  • Work efficiently and accurately in a fast pace environment
  • Riders are required to provide service to the public. They must maintain a neat and professional appearance and demeanor in all interactions.
  • May be required to work in processing and distributions facility. Sorting clean and dirty linens, folding linens with the help of an automatic folder, and creating linen packages for delivery.
  • Providing exemplary customer service to guests, owners, coworkers, and vendors while providing expedient resolution of assigned tasks
  • Representing Oak Island Accommodations with extreme professionalism, looking out for the company's best interest while providing efficient, quality work
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Obeys all applicable Federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)



You are a person that (required skills):



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Is able to work weekends and holidays
  • Is able to work in inclement weather conditions
  • Able to operate email, text and mobile device
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Problem solving skills



Physically you can anticipate to:



  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
  • Lift up to 30 pounds
  • Carry up to 70 pounds
  • Use your arms and legs, and sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
  • Subject to internal and external environmental conditions
