Job Description

The Global Supply Chain Analyst at Zurn Elkay is vital to the success of the Supply Chain Optimization Team. Within this role are three focus areas: Supplier Onboarding, Total Supply Chain Risk Management, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting. The candidate will gather data, determine its relevancy to team goals, and work to implement strategies to capture tasks that result from data dissection. The ideal candidate will understand the layers within each of the business' strategic goals, be able to determine data relevancy, and develop reporting for alignment within the supply chain. This role ensures that processes are sufficiently described, documented, reviewed, updated, and disseminated to the organization while ensuring appropriate controls are in place.

Key Accountabilities

  • Gather data from multiple ERP systems (Oracle, D365, JD Edwards)

  • Research new data opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities for supply chain risk, ESG, and governance tracking

  • Assist in developing and maintaining monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics aligned with team goals and end-of-year government reporting

  • Support management of the supplier onboarding process; ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completion of all tasks

  • In this role, he or she will be adaptable to the environment; being able to switch from task to task throughout the day

  • Deliver analytical support to all areas within the supply chain as it relates to optimization and progress of business goals

  • Ability to conduct open-source research and pull information from large data sets.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant area of study or equivalent experience.

  • 1+ years experience in a Supply Chain related role

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and particularly strong Excel skills involving pivot tables, dynamic formulas.

  • Experience using analytical research and/or industry tools to manage and analyze data (e.g. Tableau, Oracle Reporting, etc.)

  • Ability and confidence to draw high-level assessments from research and data

  • Ability to write and speak clearly to brief complex analytical matters at all levels

  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective and positive leadership qualities

  • Ability to evaluate relevant materials as to its importance, and extract data pertaining to the assigned subject matter
