Job Description
As our Senior Manager of InfoSec, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's information security policies, procedures, and protocols. The role involves working closely with other departments to identify and mitigate security risks, conducting regular audits and assessments, and developing training programs to promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization. Your will report to our Senior Director of Enterprise Operations and work in close collaboration with IT, Engineering and Business leadership to maximize Shield AI's security posture.

Projects and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a high performing team of InfoSec professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and effective communication within the team and with other departments.
  • Develop and implement the organization's information security policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and identify potential vulnerabilities and threats
  • Work with other departments to implement security controls and measures to mitigate identified risks
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to promote a culture of security throughout the organization
  • Monitor security incidents and respond to any security breaches or incidents as they arise
  • Manage security incidents and ensure that corrective action is taken
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, trends, and best practices and make recommendations for improving the organization's security posture
  • Oversee compliance with relevant regulatory and legal requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the organization's security policies and procedures are aligned with business objectives and priorities
Preferred qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • 8+ years of experience in InfoSec, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Experience implementing CMMC and NIST 800-171 / 53
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of professionals.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Clear and concise communicator.
  • Strong technical expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans and goals.
  • Experience managing a technology budget and allocating resources effectively.
  • Experience working with product development teams in an Agile or DevOps environment.
  • Excellent communication skills; Assisting with internal and external communication and improving transparency.
  • Demonstrated record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others.
  • Demonstrated ability to create innovative solutions that create exceptional collaborative environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects at scale and across functions with high level of execution and quality.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment and solve problems of varying levels of complexity.
  • Capable of developing collaborative relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Strong communication to effectively present to customers, team members and senior leadership.
  • Identify inefficiencies. functional overlap, synergies and opportunities; implement solutions and close gaps.
  • Experience building, leading, and mentoring direct reports while creating strong camaraderie and mission achievement.

Total compensation: Salary within range listed above + Bonus + Benefits + Equity (if applicable)
Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location. Information on the benefits offered is here. All offers are contingent on a cleared background check.
Location guidelines-
Onsite = 5 days/week
Remote = Remote but able to come to the office as requested for business needs
