Responsibilities

Canyon Ridge Hospital is a freestanding, 157-bed acute psychiatric facility offering services to adolescents ages 13-17, adults and older adults in the Chino area. We offer a complete spectrum of mental health services for adolescents, adults and seniors.

We are seeking a dynamic and talented Music Facilitator to join our team!

  • This position would be four days a week, four hours a day

The Music Facilitator has a love of music and a genuine interest in people struggling with mental health symptoms, through the use of musical talent and expression. Utilizes music bringing their own musical instruments and equipment to facilitate large group treatment sessions with mental health patients in the hospital setting. Works with a wide range of mental health and substance use disorder population including adolescents and adults.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma and musical talent. Continue to maintain Professional Liability Insurance: Not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence / $3,000,000 annual aggregate.

Experience: Experience in inpatient behavioral Health setting is preferred.
