Partner with the best

This Technical Sales and Account Specialist will be customer facing sales position ultimately responsible for winning business. Develops technical sales plan for a specific region and assists sales team members to win orders. Additionally, manage relationships with engineering companies in North America.

As a Technical Sales and Account Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the sales managers with positioning I&ET Gas Technology and identifying the best technical and commercial solution while promoting the business value proposition of Baker Hughes.
  • Working with regional sales, commercial operations, and application engineering as primary technical role involved in pre- request for quotation work (RFQ) aimed to increase market penetration.
  • Qualifying products on a technical level with existing and new customers and understanding competitor products well and can articulate pros/cons in comparison to BH TPS products.
  • Providing technical training to sales team and could present at conferences
  • Positions BH technology with the goal to influence customer technical specifications to align with BH products.
  • Works with engineering companies to understand pre-FEED and FEED projects in pursuit or in process to position I&ET Gas Tech to bid.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college with 3+ yrs experience in Rotating Equipment Sales.
  • Experience with Centrifugal and/or Reciprocating Compressors
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Able to influence others and lead small teams. Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact with proven analytical and organizational ability.
  • Able to coordinate several projects simultaneously with effective problem identification and solution skills.
