FSP Lead Community Mental Health Trainer (Hybrid)

Description The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time FSP Lead Community Mental Health Trainer to join the DMH-UCLA Public Mental Health Partnership (PMHP). This is a one-year contract position eligible for renewal or conversion to a career position.
Primary duties include:
* Determining training, technical assistance, and program model needs among providers working in the Full Service Partnership (FSP) model
* Overseeing the planning, delivery, and quality improvement of FSP provider trainings
* Compiling relevant trainings used in other treatment contexts, evaluate their relevance to Los Angeles County, and consider implementation with partners
* Lead training projects including task supervision and mentorship to other training staff
* Consulting and creating FSP program improvement goals and action steps aimed at addressing administrative or clinical challenges presented by FSP providers
* Developing and implementing quality assurance and improvement activities for all facets of PMHP program delivery
* Planning and supervising the development of a portfolio of intervention materials including: manuals, online and skill-building group curricula for FSP providers such as training videos, identification of relevant peer-reviewed research articles, popular media, and other training materials
Notes: This position is temporarily, primarily remote due to COVID-19, so interactions with team members will mostly take place over email, Slack, and Zoom. Once in-person operations resume, frequent travel within Los Angeles County may be required. For travel to locations other than work office, you'll be reimbursed for mileage. This contract position may convert to career.
Salary range: $76900.00-$113900.00 Annual
Qualifications * Advanced degree in a mental health related field i.e. MSW, Ph.D., MA, Psy.D, Ph.D. or Ed.D. (Highly preferred)
* Demonstrated thorough knowledge of the Full Service Partnership (FSP) program or similar programs (e.g., Assertive Community Treatment, Housing First)
* Experience communicating complex information to people with varying levels of education/training and different learning styles (both in-person and online)
* Experience leading trainings for clinical staff and administrative staff
* Experience providing clinical support for staff at remote sites who are dealing with challenging cases and caseloads
* Demonstrated excellence in training curriculum development
* Experience in developing educational materials for dissemination through an Internet-based platform
* Knowledge of the mental health issues impacting families of those with severe mental illness
* Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance, and access to an automobile for travel to service delivery sites throughout Los Angeles County
* Familiarity with collaborative workgroup and reporting tools, such as Salesforce, Access, and SharePoint
* Ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously
