Job Title: Azure ML Admin

Roles & Responsibilities

Required min 5+ years experience as ML Ops Engineer

- Sound hands experience in Data Science Statistical modeling Python/R programming Machine learning(ML SQL Linux/Unix shell scripting

- Have experience working in an agile environment

- Be a problem solver and quick learner

- Monitoring the performance of these systems

- Identifying ways to improve their performance

- Investigating issues when they arise

• Collaborating with Cloud Solution Architects in implementing complex end-to-end Enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure platform

    • Excitement to work with customers to understand their overall data estate, IT and business priorities and success measures to design implementation architectures and solutions
    • Currently has or is in the process of obtaining their BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Machine Learning
    • 15+ years of professional experience in technology consulting or similar roles
    • Some understanding of ETL, ELT, data ingestion/cleansing and engineering skills
    • Some exposure and knowledge, in two or more of the following
    • Data Ingestion and Storage
    • Strong platform administration experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure SQL, SQL Server Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Kubernetes
    • DevOps, CI/CD, Agile and/or Scrum methods of delivery
    • Engineering experience and or project course work using large data systems on T-SQL, and/or Python
    • Big Data Analytics. Preferably in Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Analysis Services, and Snowflake
    • Data Governance, Data Catalog
    • Communication is essential, must be able to listen and understand the question and develop and deliver clear insights
    • Independent and able to manage and prioritize workload
    • Ability to adapt quickly and positively to change
    • MS Certifications: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Fundamentals

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $94,000.00 - $120,000.00 + depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
