Flag Officer Management Analyst

Key Role:

Provide services directly to a DoD Senior Executive working in a highly dynamic environment. Think and act independently with highly evolved organization skills and observe senior leaders to predict their future needs while maintaining strict confidentiality on highly sensitive personnel and mission-associated data and information, and only communicate such knowledge when directed. Coordinate office processes and procedures with the senior government executive assistants and interactions between the Deputy Directorate and the Director, Vice Director, and Deputy Directorate points of contact (POC). Work in close coordination with Military O-6/GS-15 division chiefs executing the Deputy Directorates mission of assessment, integration, and analysis of Cyber and Command, Control, Communications, and Computers initiatives that influence future joint force design and development to enable globally integrated operations. Provide project planning support, program-level analysis of projects and products, and event preparation and action items, as required, and work independently with little guidance. Track formal JS taskers and prepare Senior Executive correspondence. Review organization correspondence for non-functional content edits, including address management, prescribed format template conformance, grammatical edits, and correspondence packaging, in accordance with DoD/JS manuals, DoD/JCS Instructions, and other correspondence processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience developing and executing an overarching records management plan and archive for Senior Executive correspondence and communications.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with the Defense Travel System
  • Knowledge of DoD Records Management processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of the Navy Standard Integrated Personnel System
  • Knowledge of Joint Personnel Adjudication System
  • Secret clearance
  • Associate's degree or 7+ years of experience in DoD Senior Executive support in lieu of a degree

  • Experience with Flag Officer executive support
  • Experience at a DoD Headquarters Staff
  • Experience working with DoD Joint community
  • Experience working in a Coalition environment
  • Experience with Records management
  • Experience with Privacy Act requirements
  • Experience with Freedom of Information Act requirements
  • Experience with Inspector General and General Accounting Office taskings

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
