Duties and Responsibilities
The Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management ( ISSCM) at Loyola University Chicago invites applicants to apply for a full-time non-tenure track faculty appointment in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or Statistics beginning Fall 2023. This position has an initial one-year appointment and is renewable based on teaching needs. Previous teaching experience in either Analytics, Information Systems, or Statistics in a University setting, as well as business experience, is preferred. We also encourage applicants from other professional areas who have adjunct experience in the related areas and have presented at professional conferences. The ideal candidate will continue the department's reputation for top quality teaching and engagement in analytics, information systems, or statistics.
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate core courses related to Business Analytics, Information Systems, or Statistics under the mentorship of experienced faculty who oversee the curriculum for these important core classes. The primary responsibility of these positions is to teach in these areas and to engage in impactful service roles at Quinlan. The applicant should share a commitment to our mission of educating responsible leaders who make a difference locally, regionally, and globally. The successful candidate will be a thought-leader in this dynamic evolving area. Expectations include excellence in teaching and ideally professional work experience that has had an impact in the field of information systems. Administrative responsibilities include participation in faculty discussions to develop and maintain an appropriate curriculum for these core classes.

Qualifications
Include a minimum of a master's degree in information systems, analytics, statistics, or a closely related field; leadership experience in business; and teaching experience. Although not required, a PhD and a record of recent research activities will be viewed favorably. Qualified candidates must demonstrate teaching effectiveness and a strong understanding of and commitment to the mission of the university. Of special interest are candidates who can further the University's efforts to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion.
