$16.00 per hour. This seasonal full-time, non-exempt, position is located at the Anoka County Parks Department Maintenance Shop located in Andover, MN. Hours Seasonal Full-time; 40 hours per pay week. Work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Schedule may vary based on business needs and at supervisor discretion. The Anoka County Parks Department has a Seasonal Park Maintenance worker- Operations/GIS Internship available. This position will support the Parks Maintenance Unit in a wide variety of administrative tasks, research projects, inventory updates, daily operations tasks, and projects within an 11,000-acre county parks department. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, through the season. This seasonal full-time, non-exempt, position is located at the Anoka County Parks Department Maintenance Shop located in Andover, MN. Work Environment This position requires work to be performed both outdoors and indoors. Outdoor duties may be performed in extremes of weather conditions (wind, rain/snow, heat, cold). Indoor duties will be performed in both office and shop settings. GRADE LEVEL Hours Schedule may vary based on business needs and at supervisor discretion. Selection Process The examination/selection process for this classification will consist of a review of your training and experience from the application materials submitted. The most qualified candidates will be invited for an oral exam and/or interview.
