The Opportunity:

An Outside Business Development professional extraordinaire! With focus in the greater Atlanta area, the

Business Development Representative will drive home inspection sales through real estate agent

referrals. This role builds relationships with real estate agents through in-person events and

meetings, phone calls, and electronic communications to obtain home inspection referrals, to

drive new business, and to maintain existing partnerships.

Employment Type: Full-time. Remote.

Impact and Importance:

Our Business Development Representatives are members of our Growth Team, which is the engine of

RIA. Growth Team objectives have a great impact on the organization, as the output of referrals

and revenue ensures continued growth and success of the company, our sister companies, and

all team members.

What you will do:

  • Build positive relationships with agents through in-person events, phone and electronic communications, and social media interactions
  • Identify and overcome obstacles
  • Drive new business and home inspection sales through real estate agent referrals
  • Generate, confirm, and conduct in-person meetings, events, and presentations at real estate offices
  • Plan and execute in-house agent events
  • Maintain strong existing business relationships through the delivery of consistent and professional electronic communications
  • Attend weekly team meetings and support/assist other team members as needed

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives and goals.
  • Impeccable interpersonal communication along with verbal and written skills
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology.
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
  • Timely responsiveness and excellent follow-through.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • High-speed internet connection required.
  • Reliable vehicle required
  • Availability during regular business hours and some pre-planned evenings for events.
  • Distraction/noise-free environment required.
  • Experience and understanding of how to work and collaborate with a remote, distributed team is preferred.
  • The ability to receive feedback and grow
  • Experience in the real estate industry is a plus!



Physical requirements:

  • Working at the computer, sitting and standing for extended periods of time. (Sitting, talking, hearing)
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more.

Job Type: Full-time

Base pay of $35,000, plus uncapped commissions and bonuses!
