Introduction to the job

ASML US brings together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. We design, develop, integrate, market and service these advanced machines, which enable our customers - the world's leading chipmakers - to reduce the size and increase the functionality of their microchips, which in turn leads to smaller, more powerful consumer electronics. Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and we have 18 office locations around the United States including main offices in Chandler, Arizona, San Jose and San Diego, California, Wilton, Connecticut, and Hillsboro, Oregon.

Lead the supply-chain activities for upgrades, installations and relocation events in the region by being an integral part of the engineering and technical cross-functional project team. Gather ASML and the customer requirements to ensure that the high-tech machine modules, tools, parts and materials, meet required specifications, first time quality and are delivered on-time to the customer site. In between events, identify supply chain gaps, lead development of performance indicators, initiate and drive continuous improvement projects to optimize supply chain KPI's.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Role and responsibilities

ASML is a high-tech lithography equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry that enables the world's leading microchip companies to produce more powerful, faster and energy efficient microchips used in consumer products such as laptops, tablets, and smart devices that we all use every day!

ASML's supply chain division is continuously aiming to better serve our customers through on-time deliveries, first time quality and high performing lithography machines. This division is instrumental in supporting the installation of new machines, upgrading and enhancing existing machines and relocating machines for our customers. These machines are highly complex and operated in a cleanroom environment creating extremely demanding requirements for the supply chain processes, driven by the sensitivity of the parts (cleanroom handling only), the strict needs to minimize machine downtime and the constantly changing specifications of machines. The goal is to establish a true "field factory" set-up allowing the engineers to perform the installation, upgrade and relocation with maximum efficiency and minimum downtime.

This role will prepare and manage the customer supply chain to install, upgrade and relocate ASML's cutting-edge EUV lithography machines.
