PRIME AE Group (), a multi-discipline architecture and engineering firm with 20+ office locations and over 500 employees within the Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, and Southeast Regions, is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Co-op or Intern for our Akron, OH or Baltimore, MD offices to join the existing Water Group Team.

Additional Responsibilities:

Take part in creating and evolving system designs from concept to final construction document phase. Perform analyses and apply problem solving techniques in order to develop creative, innovative solutions. Perform a variety of complicated tasks and critical thinking.

Job Summary:

Open to students pursuing a BS degree from an ABET accredited engineering program. Willingness to learn about water infrastructure type projects as mentioned above for local, state and federal clients involving municipal and industrial markets. Systems and software to learn includes AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, KyPIPE, SWMM, HEC-RAS, PCSWMM, EPANET, WaterCAD, and Microsoft Office. Take part in reviewing, understanding, and applying local, state and federal codes and standards related to the design and construction of project facilities. Learn and apply market specific guidelines, the practices and policies of the associated local discipline, divisions, and firm. Employ excellent interpersonal and communication skills. In addition, this role will assist field staff, General Contractors, Architects, and Engineers to ensure compliance with specifications and design during construction.
