Primary Purpose

Performs carpentry work, repair work, and preventive maintenance throughout the hospital on existing equipment and on new projects to ensure that all Parkland facilities are developed and maintained safely and efficiently.

Education:

Experience:

• Must have 1 year of carpentry experience.

Equivalent Education and/or Experience:

• None

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

• None

Skills or Special Abilities:

• Must be able to read, write, and interpret blueprints.
• Must be able to demonstrate skill with supplies and equipment associated with carpentry.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with departmental personnel and Hospital staff.
• Prefer ability to speak a second language.
• Must be physically able to lift heavy loads, walk, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders.
