Honors Performance Series Senior Chaperone (Middle School)

WorldStrides
United States, Virginia, Vienna
1919 Gallows Road (Show on map)
June 01, 2023

WorldStrides is the global leader in educational travel and experiential learning. The company was founded over 50 years ago and has grown to provide a wide range of programs for more than 550,000 students annually from more than 5,000 K12 schools and universities to over 100 countries around the world. WorldStrides offers experiential learning programs in educational travel, performing arts, language immersion, career exploration, service-learning, study abroad, and sports. Each of these experiences helps students to see beyond the classroom and to see the world - and themselves - in new ways.

The Senior Chaperone is responsible for the oversight and execution of student learning and all musical components. Their responsibilities include: overseeing all aspects of ensemble rehearsals, addressing any classroom problems or disruptions, documenting all customer interactions, providing coaching to the Chaperones, and ensuring musical delivery expectations are being met. Senior Chaperones will not have an assigned group of performers; rather, they will supervise the rehearsal environment and deliver direction to their ensemble groups. The Senior Chaperones oversee the Chaperones. The Senior Chaperone collaborates with the leadership team to ensure the success of the program and that the Envision values of Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Engaged and Be Safe are modeled and followed throughout the total program experience. Senior Chaperones report to the Program Directors.
