What will you be doing:

The Contract Manager (CM) in the Contract Management department is responsible for administration, forecasting, and direction for an assigned portfolio of contracts. Specifically, Contract Managers are responsible for

* Manage and develop supplier relationships and manage the financial performance of contracts

* Responsible for less complex accounts, typically <$5M

* Management of the contract from execution to expiration including but not limited to facilitating amendments to the contract

* Managing contract revenue, forecasts, penetration, and uptake

* Performing Business Line Reviews for their assigned suppliers

* As part of a cross functional service line team, align Contract Management activities with the Product Planning Contract Negotiations, Contract Launch and Field Specialist teams within Premier

* Serve as the single point of contact for the contract and responding to questions from Premier's field team and member hospitals

* Providing subject matter expertise in terms of industry wide and macro-economic changes effecting supply competitiveness

* Aligning Member / Supplier expectations

Will collaborate daily with senior contract managers and the Director for guidance and direction with complexities of contract portfolio or issue resolution. The Contract Manager will eventually take on the management of more complex contracts and develop a more advanced understanding of contract management processes and procedures.

Years of Applicable Experience - 5 or more years

Skills & Experience:

Account Management, Contract Management, Data Warehousing (DW), Revenue Forecast

Education:

Bachelors Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Experience to include:

  • Partner Contract experience
  • Financial Analysis

Education:

Master's Degree

Premier's internal salary range for this role is $64,000 - $118,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
