If you live in Northeast (CT, MA, PA, RI, Long Island, NJ), you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Develop, establish and foster solid working relationships with internal business partners across a wide spectrum of functions including but not limited to account management, product and operations
  • Interact, collaborate, and continuously educate internal account management teams on the Surest solution
  • Work closely with internal account management teams to gain understanding of specific market needs, customer goals within an existing book of business and path to success with the Surest solution
  • Consult with internal account management teams on Surest engagements including overall service experience delivery, retention and growth strategy, product enhancements and member engagement communication plans
  • Analyze, package and deliver data insights for internal account management teams to leverage
  • Present Surest strategy to brokers and prospective customers as subscribed by internal account management teams
  • Advocate as the voice of the customer (VOC) to develop content, make product enhancement recommendations and ultimately deliver solutions that remain aligned to the Surest value propisition
  • Demonstrate balance in enabling capabilities as requested by the internal account management teams for customer success while protecting the Surest platform at it's core
  • Stay apprised of industry trends, regulatory dynamics and business challenges to better advise on how Surest can help customers achieve their health plan objectives
  • Monitor Surest service model performance and details, identify and resolve broad issues and prioritize and deliver on improvements and engagement recommendations
  • Deliver Surest specific annual enrollment strategy including customized digital assets and participate in member recruitment activities as subscribed

Required Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relationship management and product consulting experience in the group health insurance and / or health benefits space
  • Demonstrated track record of creating, coaching and maintaining relationships across B2B audiences while executing on key objectives and results
  • Demonstrated ability to set realistic goals, manage expectations and prioritize needs of competing interests of both internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high volume of details with precision and excellence in short and inflexible timeframes
  • Demonstrated ability to be comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty; the ability to adapt nimbly and lead others through complex situations
  • Proven openness to feedback and ideas from others with both the ability to disagree and to commit
  • Ability to travel 20% on average and up to 50% during peak times to visit business partners, attend critical industry meetings, and participate in key market events

Connecticut, New York or Rhode Island Residents Only: The salary range for Connecticut, New York or Rhode Island residents is $85,000 to $167,300. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
