POSITION PURPOSE Under the general direction of the Maintenance Manager this position is a journey level classification requiring the incumbent to be fully competent to install, maintain, troubleshoot, document and repair a wide variety of industrial instrumentation, electronic monitoring, metering, controlling and signaling devices used in the wastewater industry. Must have a thorough knowledge of control systems and components including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) software and hardware. The work includes the troubleshooting and repair of electrical/mechanical equipment, and the incumbent is expected to often work independently due to the diverse nature of the work. In addition, this position requires that the individual work closely with both maintenance and plant operators to identify problem areas and make repairs to ensure continuous operations. Position-is- responsible for carrying-out-tasks and activities consistent with instrumentation and electrician work. PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
