Job Summary:
POOLCORP is currently seeking a Physical Security and Loss Prevention Investigator to monitor security and conduct operational and compliance investigations at our corporate headquarters and sales center locations throughout the US. Responsibilities:

  • Identifies, intakes, logs and assesses instances of both internal and external theft, and ultimately bringing closure to incidents.
  • Facilitates appropriate installation, maintenance and monitoring of burglar alarms and camera systems at our sales centers.
  • Participates in the training of mangers in training to increase Loss Prevention awareness
  • Executes preliminary investigative plans into investigations by using basic techniques of gathering information and employing subject matter experts to understand the facts and draws conclusions.
  • Timely advises concerned parties of investigative findings including debriefing Field and Corporate Management, Internal Audit, Human Resources, Legal, etc. periodically on case status, as well as relevant findings during the investigation on a need-to-know basis as determined by the sensitivity of the investigation.
  • Willingness to testify in court as a witness on behalf of the company in any case in which the Investigator is summoned.
  • Prepares prompt and complete reports relative to all theft incidents.
  • Assists in reducing the likelihood of future wrongdoing by identifying remediation opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in corporate investigations is required, law enforcement or military service in some capacity is highly desired.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Knowledge of Prelude Inventory software is desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Power BI is a plus.
  • An analytical and methodical approach to tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel 20%.
  • Certification as a CFE and/or membership in ACFE is desirable.
