Pay Range: $37K-$53K

What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):

The Analytical Lab Technician provides laboratory services for the support of research, development, and manufacturing activities mainly in a R&D environment with occasional exposure to manufacturing. These support services include the testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished polymeric foam products using instrumental, physical and wet chemistry techniques; documenting laboratory work in compliance with regulations; preparing and executing method validation protocols; and preparation of draft documents and technical reports.



  • Perform routine analysis on raw materials, intermediates and finished products.
  • Conducts scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment (i.e., GC/MS, HPLC, GPC, pH meter).
  • Prepare standards and sample solutions, mobile phase as required by the test methods.
  • Assist with training for routine tasks and established methods.
  • Upkeep and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
  • Participates in method development and validation.
  • Maintains appropriate documentation (records and lab notebooks).
  • Complies with all good housekeeping, cGMP and safety requirements, laboratory SOP's and company policies and procedures.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):



  • A minimum of Associate degree in science is required, preferably in Chemistry
  • 5 years experience in an analytical laboratory
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, proportions, and ratios to practical situations. Basic math skills, including basic statistics.
