As individuals we are great, and together we are even better so come help us make a difference as we are currently seeking a full-time Certified Welding Inspector/NDE Technician to join our Metals team in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Job Snapshot:



  • Visual inspection of structural steel, including bolted and welded connections, field inspection and performing non-destructive testing
  • Coordinating testing assignments on various projects, maintaining testing equipment, report preparation
  • Field work including safely climbing steel structures like buildings, cell phone towers and water tanks to heights in excess of 200 feet



Position will require 50+ hour work weeks (during periods of peak workload), as well as off-shift and weekend work, as required.

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma/GED
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
  • Able and willing to travel for this job. This position will require travel, and expenses are paid by the company
  • Ability to climb heights in excess of 200 feet
  • Experience in the use of fall protection equipment and personal fall arrest systems



Preferred Qualifications:



  • 3 years metals testing experience
  • ICC Bolting certification
  • Level II for UT, PT, MT certifications
