The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking an enthusiastic Information Security Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technologies, conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and assist in the development of security policies and procedures. This is a chance to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and contribute to the protection of our organization's assets. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and a willingness to take on new challenges.

What You'll Do



  • Assist in the implementation of information security policies and procedures
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on computer systems and applications
  • Assist with the development and implementation of security awareness training programs
  • Participate in the investigation of security incidents and determine the root cause of security breaches
  • Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of security technologies, phishing awareness solutions, vulnerability management software, SIEM, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and antivirus software
  • Assist with conducting security risk assessments on third-party vendors and services
  • Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts
  • Assist with the management of user access control and identity management systems
  • Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response plans

An Ideal Candidate Will Have



  • Currently enrolled in an Associates, Bachelor's or Master's degree program in computer science or related field
  • Passion for cybersecurity and a desire to learn and take on new challenges
  • Basix knowledge of computer systems support and troubleshooting technique
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with others
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
