Argo Group has an exciting and challenging opportunity for an Executive Assistant role located in our New York City (midtown) office.

Responsibilities:



  • Special projects including maintaining calendars, travel arrangements, meetings, conference and event planning and catering arrangements along with, expense reports, documentation and dissemination of meeting minutes, etc.
  • Handling all written and electronic correspondence, and producing standard and ad hoc reports
  • Screening phone calls and processing email
  • Preparing expense reports through company travel system, processing purchase orders and invoices, faxing, copying, filing, and maintaining office supplies
  • Other standard Assistant and office duties as needed


Qualifications:



  • College Degree preferred
  • Minimum five years of relevant administrative experience with at least 3 years supporting an Executive
  • Must have good business acumen
  • P&C insurance knowledge preferred
  • Discreetly manage sensitive and confidential information, exercise strong initiative and good judgment and demonstrate professionalism at all times.
  • Effectively & respectfully interact with various levels of senior management throughout the organization, outside business contacts, and shareholders
  • Exceptional oral and written communication abilities
  • Excellent planning, project management, organizational and time management skills
  • Analytical, problem solving, and research capabilities
  • Must be detail-oriented and rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Very strong PC proficiency; highly skilled at Microsoft Office Products, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet Explorer
  • Must be able to anticipate Executives' needs and proactively address them within scope of authority
  • Entrepreneurial; ability to work independently and anticipate workload
  • Team Player

The base salary range provided below will be commensurate with candidate experience.In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.

New York City Pay Range:
$83,400 $97,200 USD
