Key Qualifications
  • Experience in hardware engineering
  • Experience in fast paced New Product Development
  • Experience working with overseas suppliers and manufacturers preferred
  • Knowledge of electronics and Optical assemblies preferred
  • Understanding of high-volume manufacturing process preferred
  • Interaction with large cross functional team
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, detail oriented, and presentation skills with demonstrated leadership in multifaceted, fast-paced environments preferred
  • Ability to travel internationally
Description
Display EE/Optics EPMs must be excellent and effective organizers and leaders driving internal cross-functional engagements and activities, along with managing external suppliers. A successful candidate will help set strategy, execute on schedule and be responsible for managing/communicating status and issues along the way. This position demands technical strengths in many areas, including optics, mechanics, electronics, manufacturing, and supply chain. This position requires an engineering background or experience to deal with fast paced technical issues and development. Major responsibilities: Define project plans and schedules, Drive project execution, Lead internal and external cross-functional teams in engineering and validation activities, Ensure tight inter-team coordination and communication, Strong presentation and communication skills, Understand and communicate technical/engineering issues, Identify and resolve conflicts, Recognize inter-dependencies and program issues quickly, efficiently, and effectively, Manage product development phases and engineering builds.
Education & Experience
BS + 3 years of relevant experience

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $132,300 and $241,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
