As part of our Silicon Engineering group, you'll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC). You'll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions. Joining this group means you will be responsible for crafting and building the technology that fuels Apple's devices. Together, we will enable our customers to do all the things they love with their devices. As part of the GPU shader core verification team, you will be involved in end-to-end functional and architectural verification of Apples next generation GPUs. If you are a verification engineer that enjoys working on core GPU/CPU architecture, graphics rendering, and building complex test benches from scratch, this will be an exciting role for you. We use cutting edge verification methodologies, and emphasize innovation to enable Apple's silicon leadership.
Key Qualifications
  • Prior design verification experience on CPU or GPU cores
  • System Verilog/UVM experience
  • Strong OOP coding skills (preferred languages are C/C++, Python, Perl, Ruby
  • Strong CPU or GPU architecture
  • Graphics pipeline, OGL/Metal/OCL programming experience is a bonus
  • Machine learning experience is a bonus
Description
The Shader Core Verification Engineer will be involved in: - Test plan, verification, and delivery of shader core features - Develop new UVM/System Verilog testbenches - Performance verification - Leverage machine learning in new verification methodologies
Education & Experience
BS degree + minimum of 3 years of experience
