Business Systems Consultant - Advanced

Direct the analysis of complex, company-wide business problems regarding its operating systems. Offer strategic and technical guidance by identifying, evaluating and developing systems and automated processes that will drive organizational change. Transform strategic company architecture and design principles into specific systems requirement and specifications. Resolve issues through innovative solutions that are cost effective and comply with business requirements. Prepare specifications for system changes. Recommend and initiate systems testing. Re-engineer technical processes and systems for greater efficiencies with a positive impact to business operations. Partner with business stakeholders and other cross-functional business partners to prioritize process transformation initiatives and support architectural assessments. Identify, assess and document business requirements to recommend priorities and provide insights as to business options, risks, and cost-benefit analysis. Configure, customize and test finance-related modules within Oracle R12 e-Business Suite. Identify business improvement opportunities and lead their implementation across the organization.

Reqts:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (Employer will accept 3 years of university study and 3 years of work experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree); and 6 years of progressive experience in the field of Accounting, Finance, Financial Systems or Oracle EBS, including 6 years of experience with implementing and supporting finance modules: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payables (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Accounts Receivables (AR), Subledger Accounting (SLA) and Cost Accounting; and experience with Record to Report process in Oracle; Oracle e-Business architecture, including diagnosing and solving user-reported and system issues; TOAD or Oracle SQL Developer to write simple queries, perform data validations, and support end-users; business analysis, testing of new deployment and functional enhancements, and Solution Design (including gathering requirements from business and translating the solution in Oracle EBS); serving as a liaison between technology and business end-users; designing ledgers, legal entities, Set of Books and Subledger accounting rules; asset tracking and installed base, as well as their integration with General Leger and Subledger Accounting; order management, procurement and other Oracle modules (including AP, AR, GLS, and FA) as well as their integration with Oracle financials; identifying the gaps in standard Oracle and development of solutions with minimal customizations; working with both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies. Employer will alternatively accept Master's degree or equivalent and 4 years of experience with the abovementioned skills.
