As a Manager, you'll drive the development of innovative risk mitigation strategies and take on a pivotal role as the leader of DaVita's cutting-edge Anti-Kickback Statute monitoring program. You'll lead a dedicated team of two direct reports and serve as the go-to expert in this critical area. DaVita's Compliance team, "Team Quest" identifies, develops, and implements strategies to mitigate risk in a quickly evolving healthcare regulatory landscape. As a Manager, you will join and lead a team of highly motivated individuals and will be a key player in enhancing compliance oversight.

You will be responsible for leading the Company's Anti-Kickback Statute monitoring program in partnership with two direct reports. You will serve as a subject matter specialist, providing direct and indirect strategic guidance to your team, operational stakeholders, accounting teams, legal counsel, and compliance professionals across DaVita.

The position is located in Denver, Colorado on a hybrid work schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reports to a Sr. Manager, Compliance.
  • Oversees the Compliance Anti-Kickback Statute Monitoring team including the management and continued professional development of at least two direct reports.
  • Identifies and assesses areas of compliance risk, finalizes and reports findings and recommendations, and oversees competition of monitoring activities.
  • Responsible for developing strong relationships throughout DaVita to foster an advisory or collaborative approach to proactive compliance.
  • Responsible for identifying system, data, or process improvements that increase efficiency, compliance, or reduce cost to the business.
  • Makes recommendations to compliance leadership, develops and supports execution of plans to implement recommendations in conjunction with compliance management.
  • Demonstrates an aptitude for critical thinking in complex situations and an ability to synthesize ambiguous data into concrete insights and other duties as assigned.

  • Travel required: Minimal (<5%)

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree required; other relevant advanced degree or certifications a plus.
  • Preferred minimum of 2+ years' experience as a compliance professional experienced in the development and implementation of risk assessments and monitoring programs
  • Previous Anti-Kickback Statue compliance risk experience preferred.
  • Previous people management experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with demonstrated attention to detail.
  • Strong technology skills including Excel and PowerPoint; and experience creating data analytics preferred.
  • A thoughtful, articulate, and effective verbal and written communicator who can distill and articulate the important aspects of any issue to a wide audience of participants.
  • Demonstrated management-level presentation experience, including comfort liaising with a wide audience including senior leadership.
  • Must be a self-motivated team player with proven ability to identify issues and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment with a bias for action and a strong sense of ownership.

Salary/ Wage Range

$75,200.00-$110,400.00 / year

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
