The primary responsibility of the Rep Special Events is to assist with slot tournaments, table tournaments, and VIP ticketing. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental property policies, practices and procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

Assist the Slot Marketing Department with the execution of slot tournaments
• Assist the Casino Special Events Department with the execution of table game tournaments and casino-wide events, including Super Bowl, New Year's Eve, VIP ticketed events, etc.
• Complete special projects as requested by management
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience working in a similar resort setting

SKILLS:

• Knowledge of guest service needs
• Knowledge of appropriate money handling practices and ability to process credit card transactions
• Ability to compute mathematical calculations when balancing revenue sources, i.e., cash, credit card, check, etc.
• Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
• Ability to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
• Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• This position may require strenuous physical activities and exposure to pipe, cigar and/or cigarette smoking.
• An ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends and holidays may also be required.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods.
• May work outdoors.
