Fire Systems
Support PCG locations with identifying gaps in the fire suppression systems, help identify contractors to address those gaps. Maintain records.
Support maintenance and development of Sherwin-Williams' emergency planning programs / systems
Open Action Management
Support the Sherwin-Williams' EHS Software launch and maintenance
Develop and maintain tools and communication methods for automotive locations to improve on EHS
Support field managers to close open actions, coordinate with the subject matter experts to find the right action.
Support Training development
Help develop EHS training topics.
Safety by design
Technology Management
Maintain general knowledge of Company-wide cyber systems at both corporate and business unit levels
Develop technical knowledge and assistance in:
SW EHS new software
HR Systems, HR Cloud
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Minimum of 1 year of combined comprehensive professional or technical experience in managing projects, technical research or other such professional experience
Public speaking and team meetings
Ability to handle large amounts of extremely confidential information
Knowledge of the laws, regulations and principles pertaining to engineering;
Ability to manage records from a variety of sources, including regulatory, internal and audit records.
Ability to communicate effectively orally; and in writing
Ability to successfully pass a background check
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university at the time of internship
Preferred:
Risk analysis, risk assessment and risk decision-making tools, processes and systems
Process safety and related chemical and mechanical systems standards
Operational, business and EHS management systems
Foreign language skills
Construction experience
Project management experience
Data Analysis experience
TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
Excel spreadsheet development, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, IBM Connections, OnBase ChemSec
