About this role:

iRhythm Technologies has an opening for a full-time technical expert in manufacturing engineering. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will provide manufacturing support for existing products and processes as well as new products, product changes, line extensions and enhancements including all associated equipment validation. Responsibilities include:



  • Select and specify proper equipment for medical device manufacturing processes.
  • Writing and executing process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) technical reports.
  • Process mapping a manufacturing line to perform takt time/cycle time analyses and line balancing activities.
  • Documenting risk documentation for manufacturing (pFMEA).
  • Conducting statistical analysis tools to perform MSA/GRR
  • Conducting training to manufacturing technicians on troubleshooting techniques for manufacturing equipment.
  • Performing root cause analysis and problem solving in manufacturing related scenarios.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical fixtures/presses, off the shelf printers, sealing equipment and other common manufacturing equipment.
  • Work with cross functional team to sustain a manufacturing environment that harbors trust and collaboration.


Qualifications



  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field required


  • Must have at least 1-3 years of related experience
  • Basic experience with Minitab


  • Able to utilize basic computer skills (MS Office).


  • Can perform 3D modeling/design in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred
