As a Lighting Design Engineer, you will design and development of best in class lighting solutions for off road agriculture and construction machinery while working closely with global customers.

Creating and owning the performance specifications and DVPs for lighting components
• Propose concepts for new programs to enhance customer experience and solve problems
• Perform technical evaluations to choose the best solution
• Collaborate across multiple disciplines within the organization and help to drive decisions from stakeholders
• Technical liaison between the supplier and all internal CNH teams
• Review supplier designs in depth and critique various aspects of the design during development
• Sign off the design for release into production. Review and approve the DFMEAs, FEAs, CFDs, Optics, electrical schematics, BOM, 2D/3D, DVPRs
• Risk management when dealing with COTS/Modified COTS designs
• Ensure HW development process is followed
• Take Leadership of projects with accountability for on time delivery
• Lead various types of lighting projects (GPD, CPM, TCR etc)
• Be comfortable in working and communicating with global teams
• Keep up with technology trends, contribute towards technology roadmaps and actively manage the product portfolio to support business needs
• Participate and represent CNHi in international committees for lighting topics
• Document and implement lessons learnt back into specifications

This position pays - $97,000 - $139,000 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

• Engineer with 2+ years of career experience, with Bachelors' degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. 1+ years' experience with Master's degree. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Product development experience in lighting technology
• Product Specifications, DVPR creation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Tier 1 experience
• Knowledge of CAN/LIN
• Optical design and analysis experience
• Good presentation skills and ability to convince the stakeholders with data driven approach
• Up to 10% Travel based on the project requirements
