Establishes, coordinates and manages overall operations of the Radiation Oncology department. Responsible for the business, technical and support activities. Collaborates with physicians to maintain and improve clinical services and operations. Supervises staff and ensures that programs and services support strategic goals and objectives. Performs all required management responsibilities including but not limited to: implementing the company's policies, programs, and guidelines; ensuring employee productivity and growth; managing resources; knowing Varian's business; and maintaining functional, technical, and external market awareness necessary for managing immediate organization.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

- Located or willing to relocate to Houston, TX or surrounding area

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent

- 10 years of related experience

- 3-5+ years management experience or supervisory equivalent

- Board Certified by the MDCB.

- Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility

- Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday( or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

Position must have full access to Varian client sites to perform the essential functions of this position. Many clients require Varian employees and representatives to meet certain Vendor Credentialing requirements before they will be allowed to have access to their sites. Unless prohibited by law, position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during the course of employment in this position. These requirements vary by client and may include, but are not limited to: Proof of valid identification (photo, driver's license, SSN) Criminal background checks Drug screens Immunizations (COVID-19, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Influenza, Tetanus) Annual TB testing Healthcare training

The base pay range for this position is

Min $107,800 - Max $194,000

The pay wage range shown is based on the job posting's primary location. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications, and location.
