The Role The Senior Financial Analyst, Corporate FP&A will have the opportunity to help lead the forecasting, reporting, analysis, finance business partnership and process improvements for our R&D and G&A organizations. In addition, this role will be responsible for assisting with overall corporate P&L reporting and serve as the primary resource for developing, aggregating and maintaining reports in support of our quarterly and annual earnings cycles. What You'll Do Finance business partner to help support our 2,000+ person global R&D and G&A organizations Manage overall corporate spending for business leaders and provide key metrics to help identify trends that will assist in future investment decisions Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual FP&A processes for G&A and R&D organizations, including planning cycles, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting Serve as lead for all key internal and external corporate reporting schedules for management in support of our quarterly and annual earnings cycles Provide thought leadership around standardizing reporting that will enhance our support of the business and help generate insights for management Become an Adaptive Planning lead resource in order to strengthen and streamline our current reporting capabilities Assist with ad-hoc projects to drive automation, standardization, and operational improvement to reduce time to deliver while improving consistency and accuracy to help scale the business Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting 4+ years applicable work experience in finance/accounting, preferably for a SaaS company Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint Strong understanding of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) and experience with SaaS-based financial planning/reporting Detail-oriented with advanced analytical skills Nice to Have Adaptive, NetSuite, systems experience #LI-Remote #BI-Remote Veeva's headquarters is located in the San Francisco Bay Area with offices in more than 15 countries around the world.
