This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00am - 8:00pm MST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and weekends especially during Peak Season (October-December).

Our office is located at 169 Inverness Drive West, Englewood, CO. Employees will be required to work 2 days onsite and 3 days from home (based upon individual job performance).

We offer 9 weeks of in-office training (6 weeks with trainer followed by 3 weeks with leadership support once they start taking calls). The hours during training will be 9:00am to 5:30pm MST, Monday - Friday. 100% attendance is required for training during peak season (October-December) you will work 50+ hours, 5-6 days per week.

*All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Handling in-bound and out-bound phone calls professionally, while providing excellent customer service
  • Research and resolve sales agent's questions relating to:

    • How to use self-service tools
    • Member concerns
    • Medicaid and Medicare verification
    • Application status and eligibility
    • On-boarding and certification process
    • Commission inquiries


  • Document call resolution of each contact in various systems in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrate the ability to provide a quality experience for all of our customers
  • Meet minimal performance goals on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Available to work a full-time schedule, 40 hours a week at minimum, including evenings, holidays, variable schedule(s), overtime as necessary and weekends during peak seasons

Required Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Outlook (Organize email, manage calendar, share files)
  • 1 + years of experience with Microsoft Excel (ability to sort, filter, and create simple spreadsheets)
  • 1+ years of experience Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates).
  • 1+ years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) using multiple computer programs simultaneously to enter, review, and verify information.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week minimum) any 8-hour shift between 9:00am - 8:00pm MST, Monday - Friday including the flexibility to work evenings, holidays, variable schedule(s), overtime as necessary and weekends during peak seasons


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 6+ months of sales experience
  • 3+ years of experience Microsoft PowerPoint (create presentations, analyze data)
  • Experience supporting a sales team or working with sales representatives
  • Experience working in a call center
  • Healthcare and/or insurance industry experience
  • Medicare knowledge


Telecommuting Requirements:



  • Reside within 50 miles of our office location at 169 Inverness Drive West, Englewood, CO
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $16.00 - $31.44.
